India’s government is finalising DLI 2.0, the second phase of the Design-Linked Incentive scheme, to strengthen the country’s semiconductor ecosystem. Targeting six key chip categories and supporting 50 fabless companies, the program aims for 80% local chip design and manufacturing, positioning India as a competitive hub for advanced semiconductor technology by 2032.
