CUMI Starts Cutting And Grinding Wheel Production At Hosur

Carborundum Universal Limited has commenced commercial production of cutting and grinding wheels at its new Hosur facility, built with an investment of ₹83 crore. The plant doubles its annual capacity to over 90 million wheels and is expected to generate ₹160 crore in revenue at peak utilisation, serving fabrication, engineering, and construction sectors.
