India has strengthened its critical minerals strategy with the successful auction of 56 critical and strategic mineral blocks by the Ministry of Mines. The latest seventh tranche added 10 new blocks, including the first-ever Centre-led auctions in Gujarat, Uttarakhand, and Telangana. Covering minerals such as rare earth elements, graphite, vanadium, titanium, and rock phosphate, the initiative aims to enhance resource security and support future industrial growth.
