Building data centres in India far cheaper than in U.S., drawing global hyperscalers: Raju Vegesna
Raju Vegesna, Chairman of Sify Technologies, said building data centres in India costs nearly 2.5 times less than in the U.S., with power costs about 40% cheaper. Speaking at The Hindu Tech Summit 2026, he noted this cost advantage is attracting global hyperscalers and strengthening India’s AI infrastructure ecosystem.
