Budget: FM announces ₹40,000 crore for electronics manufacturing in FY27

In the FY27 Budget, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced a major boost for electronics manufacturing, raising the Electronics Components Manufacturing Scheme outlay to ₹40,000 crore from ₹22,919 crore. The government will also launch India Semiconductor Mission 2.0, focusing on industry-led research, technology development, and skill-building to strengthen India’s semiconductor and electronics sector.
