Budget 2026: Boost for chips, components plan

Sweden’s Bulten Group, through PSM Fasteners India, will invest ₹525 crore to set up a micro-fasteners plant in Oragadam, Tamil Nadu. The facility will cater to domestic demand and exports to Europe and the US, create around 2,000 jobs, and reduce India’s import dependence in electronics and precision manufacturing.
