BharatGen, two L&T arms to build India’s Sovereign AI Compute platform
BharatGen Technology Foundation and two L&T arms have partnered to build India’s Sovereign AI compute platform, strengthening the country’s self-reliant AI ecosystem. The collaboration will develop AI chips, reference architectures, and performance benchmarks, supported by hyperscale data centre infrastructure. With a phased three-year roadmap, the initiative aims to deliver secure, energy-efficient AI capabilities backed by government and strategic funding.
