Avalon Technologies and Zollner Elektronik AG ink JV for a new EMS facility near Chennai

Avalon Technologies and Germany-based Zollner Elektronik AG have formed a joint venture to establish an advanced electronics manufacturing facility near Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The facility will produce printed circuit board assemblies (PCBA), box-build and system integration products. Zollner will initially hold a 51% stake, with Avalon having an option to acquire the controlling stake three years after production begins, strengthening Tamil Nadu’s electronics manufacturing ecosystem.
