Andhra Cabinet Allots 1,000+ Acres in Nellore for Defence and Explosives Cluster
Andhra Pradesh is building a defence cluster in Nellore district. Sunshine Energetics received 455.91 acres at Allampadu for a ₹466-crore defence energetics project with about 300 jobs. Munish Defence Solutions got 250 acres at Duttaluru for a ₹269.25-crore explosives and filling plant, and Aditya Precitech received 300 acres in the same cluster. The Cabinet also gave 29.94 acres at Vadlapudi to APIIC, citing abundant low-cost barren land.
