Airtel plans data centre, fibre push as it targets next growth phase

Bharti Airtel plans to expand its data centre capacity from 120–130 MW to 1 GW over the next few years, while extending its fibre network across the top 400 Indian cities. The company is also focusing on financial services and AI to drive its next growth phase. Its data centre arm Nxtra has secured $1 billion in funding to support capacity expansion amid rising hyperscaler demand.
