AI and data are the new raw materials for trade: ICC chief
International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Chair Harsh Pati Singhania said AI and data have become the new raw materials driving global trade. He emphasized the need for globally interoperable AI and digital trade standards, stronger governance frameworks, and more inclusive trade policies. Singhania also highlighted India's growing influence in shaping international trade rules while advancing the interests of the Global South.
