Chennai-based AgniKul Cosmos is targeting early 2027 for Mission 2, aiming to place a commercial payload into orbit and recover the rocket’s lower stage for reuse. The space-tech startup is developing reusable launch technology to make satellite launches more affordable and available on demand. With its reusable launch vehicle architecture nearly finalised, AgniKul is now focused on sequencing and validating the technologies required for recovery and reuse.
