Adani Group enters battery energy storage with India’s largest BESS project at Khavda
Adani Group has entered the battery energy storage sector with India’s largest BESS project—a 1126 MW/3530 MWh installation at Khavda, Gujarat—scheduled for commissioning by March 2026. Using advanced lithium-ion technology and energy management systems, the project will support grid stability and renewable integration. Adani also plans to scale its storage capacity to 50 GWh over the next five years.
